Turknazz Restaurant Sutton Coldfield

Previously noted as an average restaurant due to an experience in Moseley, we hadn't planned on going back to Turknazz. But we dropped in on Thursday late afternoon to give another chance to the Sutton branch.We were more than delighted! All the food was as good as it looked, service was prompt and friendly and we ate for a reasonable price. Everything was pretty much perfect and we'll definitely be returning, hoping for a consistent experience. Mocktails were generous in size and delicious

Went tonight and loved the place. Very friendly and courteous staff. I asked a staff member what one of the dips was made from that came with the bread and 2 minutes later she delivered more of it as I said I enjoyed it. She didn't have to do that as I never asked for more but the little attention to detail from the staff is what makes a place. The platter we shared was simply beautiful. Cant speak highly enough of this restaurant and will be back soon. Keep up the good work.

Really hard working busy, genuinely really nice and friendly staff. Everything tasted just like in Turkey on holiday. The platter for two was awesome, the meat was grilled perfectly, the bread and salad was so fresh. They gave us a discount because of Valentine's Day and they boxed up the leftover food to takeaway as we couldn't eat all of it. I highly recommend this lovely Turkish restaurant, and thank you to all the staff for an awesome meal and a lovely evening.

Me and my husband love Turkish food and culture so it was only right to visit Turknazz for my birthday meal on 12/06It was a nice quiet evening, the waitress was very attentive and lovely she even complimented me which was very sweet and made my evening that little bit more special.We ordered the Turknazz Platter for 2 and a mocktail while we were waiting we were given complimentary bread and dips with olive which is always lovely.Our food came and it did not disappoint. The presentation, the portion size, everything about it was perfection. Even the salad that came was presented beautifully. The meat was so juicy and tender, the rice and bulgur was infused with so much flavour from the meat, the salad was fresh and the mocktail was refreshing.We left very happy and satisfied can’t wait to visit again soon. Would highly recommend to everyone 10/10

Amazing food, tried it for the first time.Great service, very friendly staff.Great portions and delicious flavours.Very lovely decor.Ramazin was lovely and all the staff were very helpful, had so much food, they provided us with a take away box and a bag to take it all away.

Really enjoyed my experience here, staff were very welcoming and lovely! Food was 10/10 massive portion and was so delicious.Ribs were amazing and soft complimentary tea was so nice too! Deffo come back here again such a gem in Sutton Coldfield

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Turknaz Platter and Family Platter at a local Turkish restaurant, and I must say, it was a truly satisfying and delicious experience. Both platters offered a variety of mouth-watering dishes that showcased the rich flavors and spices of Turkish cuisine.The Turknaz Platter was a meat-lover's dream, featuring lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kofte, chicken beyti, chicken wings, and ribs. It was expertly cooked and presented, with the lamb shish and adana kofte being particularly tender and flavorful. The chicken beyti, a dish I had never tried before, was a pleasant surprise, with its crispy exterior giving way to juicy and flavorful chicken.The Family Platter was equally impressive, offering a similar selection of dishes, including lamb shish, chicken shish, adana kofte, chicken wings, and ribs. The portion sizes were generous, making it an excellent value for families or groups of people. The lamb shish and chicken shish were again standouts, with the adana kofte and chicken wings also receiving high marks.To finish off the meal, we had baklava for dessert, which was crispy, sweet, and utterly delicious. The combination of honey, walnuts, and phyllo dough was perfect, and it was a great way to cap off an already excellent meal.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Turknaz Platter and Family Platter, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to try authentic Turkish cuisine. The dishes were all expertly prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned, making for a truly satisfying dining experience. Don't forget to save room for the baklava!

Authentic Turkish food, we ordered the mixed grill and it's a generous portion with lots of flavour. Çacik was also good as a starter or side. Salad was really fresh. Lovely staff.
